Summit Series "GUIDE LITE" Hunting knife
The "Guide Lite" hunting knife is a collaboration between Hunt Ready Founder Jason Gordon and Custom knife maker Chris Palfy, owner of Palfy Custom Knives.
This knife was designed with the lightweight hunter in mind. Backpack hunts are arduous and weight means everything, as does having a sharp knife.
In addition to traditional heat treat methods, these knives are also subjected to a Cryogenic process which further refines the steal structure and adds additional hardness and performance to the blade.
Strong, sharp, and lightweight, the Guide Lite knife could be the best knife you've used.
SPECS:
Weight: 75 grams (knife only)
Hardness: 61 Rockwell
STEEL: Nitro V high grade cutlery steel
HANDLE SCALES: G10, Ironwood
SHEATH: Kydex
FIRST RESPONDER "GIVE BACK" PROGRAM
Why are we giving 4.5% of all profits back to First Responders coping with PTSD?
Hunt Ready founder Jason Gordon and Palfy Custom knives owner Chris Palfy are both first responders. Jason has been a Firefighter for 18 years and Chris has been an RCMP member for 24 years. Both have seen many members of their respective departments struggle and some lose their lives to PTSD.
In Alberta 44.5% of First Responders have at least one mental disorder as reported by the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment. Trauma is something not only the responders endure but their families see and feel as well.
Our hope is with continued support for First Responders we will see less stigma behind mental health and open doors for those struggling before they are closed for good.
Your purchase of a Guide Lite knife is not only an investment in your hunting and outdoor tool box but is also an investment in the health and future of our First Responders.
Alberta Critical Incident Provincial Network Insignia PIN
As an additional "give back" we have obtained "PINS" that signify and support our First Responders. These PINS come at a cost of $5.00 to us and in turn we are offering them to you for $5.00. The full $5.00 also goes to our First Responders by donating it to the Alberta Critical Incident Provincial Network. That donation as well as the donation from your knife purchase provides funding for First Responders to acquire the assistance they need.
